In the developing economy of Uzbekistan, the increasing number of construction and transport infrastructure projects requires a large volume of various metal structures protected from corrosion. Consequently, using hot-dip galvanizing technology (the application of zinc coating to steel or cast parts), the Company plans to build a plant for the production of metal structures with anti-corrosion protection in the Angren Free Economic Zone in the Tashkent region.
Constructed in partnership with OBERHOFER Projektmanagement GmbH (Austria), the plant will have a production capacity of 38,000 tons of galvanized steel per year.
Production and technological processes will conform to European environmental safety standards. Austrian specialists will provide support to local staff in production management and quality assurance with particular attention paid to safety issues.
